We believe that whole-hearted commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ is not only the biblical norm for the believer, but that anything less is sign of disobedient in God’s eyes. Full commitment should be expected of and encouraged by every believer in the Church.
We believed that man was made to worship God and that a primary responsibility of the individual and Church corporately is to worship God in spirit and in truth. Our worship should involve the whole person: body, emotions, intellect and will. We believe this worship is a lifestyle of obedience, not simply a once a week experience.
We believe that every Christians are followers of Christ. We are learning and changing to be more like Jesus. Disciple making is happening when we live God-pleasing lives
demonstrating Christian love in relationship with others. Therefore
we are committed to equipping Christians, through the preaching and
teaching of God’s Word, to follow Christ in every spheres of life.
We believe that everyone in the body of Christ has been
uniquely designed to serve God. This Divine Design involves personality, spiritual
giftedness, experience, and passion. We believe that it is the responsibility of the Church
corporately to equip, encourage, and actively help the individual
believer find the place where God has designed him or her to serve
in the body of Christ. We
believe that the primary responsibility of the pastor(s) and
teachers in the local church is to “prepare God’s people for
works of service” (Eph.
8) We are committed to Growth.
Although numerical growth is not necessary a sign of God’s
blessing, and is not a sufficient goal in itself, we believe that
God desires for us to reach as many as possible with the life-
changing message of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we will pursue methods and policies, which will
facilitate numerical growth, without compromising in any way our
integrity or our commitment to biblical truth.
9) We are committed to Strong Servant
Leadership.
We believe that Christ is ultimately the only head of the Church, but that He has chosen to function through human leaders in the local church. We believe that these human leaders must meet the biblical qualifications of leadership. They must have godly character, Godly vision, and influence. We believe leadership must be team leadership if it is to be biblical and effective. But we also realize that, as with all biblical teams, a visionary leader must lead this team leadership. Leadership must model the leadership of Christ in that it is both strong leadership and servant leadership.
