Ann Arbor Chinese Christian Church (http://aaccc.org), Southern Baptist Convention, in Michigan, USA, is seeking a Chinese pastor.

AACCC is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The city is the home to the prestigious University of Michigan. Having a strong educational and multicultural atmosphere, Ann Arbor is one of the most pleasant cities to live in the U.S. The city population includes approximately ten thousand Chinese, many of whom are scholars and students. Because it is mainly a university town, the population has high mobility with thousands of Chinese scholars and students moving in and out annually. There is a great need for the gospel. AACCC has a great potential to become an important base for evangelism to extend the kingdom of God.

· Theological Master Degree (M. Div preferred) with church ministry (pastoral preferred) experience.

· Experience pastoring a church in North America is a plus. This position has potential to be on-track

to Senior Pastor position

· Preach fluently in Mandarin and lead worship with exegetical (homolis) sermons

· Good English communication skills, and being able to preach in English is a plus

· Agree with the Southern Baptist Convention’s Statement of Faith

· Willing to commit to Jesus Christ and His Church

· Willing to lead by example and inspire the flock to run the heavenly road together

· Have a commitment to gospel outreach, teaching, discipleship training, and visitation care

Searching English/youth Pastor

Job Description:

Ann Arbor Chinese Christian Church (AACCC) is prayerfully seeking a full-time English/youth pastor to join our pastoral team and lead both the English and youth ministries of our church. We are a Chinese church with a multi-generational membership.

Currently, we have a small group of youth. However, as a church in the fast-growing neighborhood, we are seeking a pastor who is transformed by the Holy Spirit and called into full-time English/youth ministry. He must possess the love of a shepherd and a desire to establish committed relationships with both the AACCC youth and their parents. The pastor must also have the heart to disciple AACCC youth and their parents in order to form a team to reach the neighborhood, regardless of their ethnicity, with the gospel of Christ. We pray that our parent-youth English ministry will grow into a multiethnic, multigenerational English ministry.

We desire the pastor and his family (if applicable) to engage in the ministries of AACCC and to become an integral part of the AACCC family.

Ministry targets: Youth, youth parents, and English-speaking adults.

Job Qualifications:

Qualifications / Expectations:

M.Div degree from an accredited seminary and legal status to work in the United States; being able to disciple youth; church planting experience is desired.

Applicants will be expected to work alongside our Chinese pastor, deacons, church staff, boards, and committees.

Applicants and their spouses (if applicable) must wholeheartedly affirm the AACCC statement of faith, become active members of AACCC, and live a life consistent with Biblical principles.
